## Biography

Ron Klimovsky grew up in a family of second-generation gallerists and saw the
art world from the inside before deciding to make work himself. He approaches
art from first principles and is deliberately discreet about process and
biography — the work itself is the medium for the ideas.

The studio works primarily in oil on linen, oil on panel, graphite on paper,
charcoal on paper, and small-edition intaglio prints (copper and zinc plates).
Ongoing series include "Rooms at dawn" (interiors painted in the hour before
