Rooms at dawn — open studio

Ron Klimovsky (a.k.a. ARC) is a contemporary visual artist working mainly in the United States. The studio is the primary public surface for the work — paintings in oil on linen and panel, drawings in graphite and charcoal, and limited-edition intaglio prints. There is no gallery representation, no agent, and no waiting list; inquiries go directly to the studio at studio@ronklimovsky.com.
I grew up in a family of second-generation gallerists and saw the art world from the inside before deciding to make work myself. I approach art from first principles and am deliberately discreet about process and biography — the work itself is the medium for the ideas.
I work primarily in oil on linen, oil on panel, graphite on paper, charcoal on paper, and small-edition intaglio prints. Ongoing series include Rooms at dawn (interiors painted in the hour before the day begins) and Drawings (a daily graphite-and-charcoal practice).
Ron Klimovsky Studio is my way of financing the creation of art, so I can make more and greater art.
